BOSTON -- Tyrese Haliburton scored 33 points and the Indiana Pacers opened a 30-point lead in the first half before holding off the slumping Boston Celtics 117-112 Wednesday night.

The Pacers (18-16) have won three straight and five of their last six, while the Celtics (20-13) have lost four of their last five.

Haliburton made 13 of 22 shots from the field, including 7 of 12 from three-point range. He also had seven assists and five rebounds.

Buddy Hield added 23 points for the Pacers, while Jalen Smith had 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 31 points, while Jaylen Brown added 25 points. Robert Williams III had 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Conclusion
